I was planning on buynig a camera from the GD --> http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=352076
Has anybody here attmpted to do this to an Alpine IVA-D300. I know it is possible to hook up a camera, but is there a power connection to the 'red' RCA cable?

you cut the end off the red power connector and you will have 2 wires. Take these wires and hook one up to something your radio, your screen, you reverse lights, and the hte other connect to a ground of any sort. YOu will need some wire to go fromt eh front to the back of the car but that should cost you about $5.

Then take the yellow rca and hook it up to your head unit in video. It should be easy.
