AMP and SUB to BOSE
Ok, got a 96 BOSE headunit and am trying to hook an amp with 2 12" subs up. The remote wire and the line level input wires are sliced into the rear speakers and the power and ground are both hooked properly. The subs hit, but defintely not as hard as they should. The exact same subs and amp were takin out of a friends car and they sounds nearly unbearably loud, but in the Max they hit , but defintely not as hard as they should.
Does anyone have ANY clue? I really need you help...

That's a hi/low converter that 2 DA MAX is talking about: PAC SNI-35 http://www.pac-audio.com/products/loc.htm
Seems to me that you use the same thing, but built-in to the amp... I never tried to use them, so I can't compare. Do you use the same amp that your friend was using? Also, if you friend was connecting the amp directly to the aftermarket HU, forget about that. I don't think you will even come close to his results. Bose is pain in the a**. What subs and amp are those?

he has a sony tv headunit, an alpine 2400 watt amp, and 2 15 swiss audio subs. the system that im borowing is 2 jl 12w6's and a rockford fosgate 601s amp. im not comparing the **** i have to his, but when the same system in my car now was in another car, it was way deeper and better sounding.
