Pioneer DDX7015 DVD/MP3 - Follow-up

Just wanna say THANK YOU to those who helped me out on this one. I got the Pioneer DDX7015 installed and it's one of THE BEST SETUP for your 5th gen owners considering a DVD/mp3 receiver. It's not only double-din and fits nicely with the GXE bezel, it actually passes for stock looks wise and does not block the AC vents like most people's DVD system.

Check this out:

Thanks again!

Sure you can. What you have to get is an adapter from crutchfield, here's the link:

The controls won't be as sensitive as the stock setup, but they will work nonetheless.

It's actually costly. The unit is around $1,300 and the adapter for the steering wheel control is around $90. If you want the GPS navigation setup also, that's another $800.

But trust me, it's WORTH IT.

During the day the visual is not as great as I expected, partly due to the fact that 5th gen's stock angle is tilted upward. At night, however, u can view from anywhere in the cabin, and the buttons light up red to match the odometer needles.

The deck has 5 different tilt settings for all your needs.

There's a background when using the unit, but I wouldn't call it a screensaver. If u want pictures email/PM me
