Bad reception with Bose...

My stock Bose system sounds great when playing CDs but when I tune into radio stations it sounds horrible, it gets bad reception on 4 of the main 6 stations that I listen to and the thing is in all of my other cars I can listen to those stations with perfect clarity. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this?

What year is your car? 5th gen's are notorious for bad antenna signal due to being built in the glass.

None that I know of. However, I have not done extensive research on the topic, only have heard it first hand in my wife's car and second hand from a few people on this board. I'd imagine you could put another antenna on the car though ... it may be an eye sore.

Get satellite radio ... that will definitely cure your need for radio.
