RCA cable ?

i just bought 2 pairs of rockford fosgate dual twist rca's for my front and rear speakers. on the package it says they are available in 2 and 4 channel and i have the 2 channel ones. will these still work on a 4 channel amp since i have two pairs?

If your head unit has two sets of RCA outputs then use one set for the front channels on your amp and the other set for the rear channels on your amp. That way you will be able to use the balance and the fade features on your headunit.
If you only have one RCA output on your headunit then just use one set and get some y-cables to split each side into 2. You will lose your fade ability but you will still be able to control the balance.

They are available in both 2 and 4 channel configurations. If you have 2 sets of the 2 channel RCA's, that will work. I had the CPDT cables in my other ride before I sold it and loved them. Just be careful with the RCA ends. Had heard of the end pulling out of them if you jerk on the wire to disconnect them.

that's why you don't jerk any wires to remove them. grab the end, and pull it out that way

Word!!
But there's folks that don't understand that, like big box installers. Never had them fail on me for any reason, just don't kink'em.
