Hi, I just purchased a beautiful '89 GXE with 102K miles on it here in the Hawaii. I love it. Only thing is, the Bose system doesn't work. This is what happens when I turn it on. It stays on for about 10 seconds(sometimes it stays on for a minute or so) then shuts off. While it's on, the presets are all reset to default and I only hear a very little sound coming from the right rear speaker. Is there any way to check each speaker individually? If so, how? I also just ordered a JVC CD Player head unit and want to install it. Can I install it and use the Bose speakers(that is, if they are still working)? Okay, that's it. I also want to add that since discovering this site, I feel so much better owning my Maxima since I feel everyone's support for one another. Thank you all!
