Replaced Bose successfully; amp question..
Best Buy just finished the install job on everything yesterday (Pioneer 7600 HU; some nice Pioneer speakers; Rockford Fosgate Dual 12" stage 2 subs; Rockford 1500 amp). I'm really loving it.
But for many songs it seems like the Bass takes control over the song (subs are really loud, and the actual song is about normal). So I was thinking of amping the speakers, but can I use my sub amp?
Each 12" has 400 watts, so 800 total, and my amp has a max 1500 watts. Should I just use that amp to power the speakers? Will there be any negative effects? And finally, how hard would it be?
Thanks!
Dan
