2 Solo Baric L5's and a Mono amp?

I already have 2 Kicker solo baric L5 subs (wired in 2ohm stereo).

If i were to get a mono 1200 watt class D amp how would i wire that up?

Or will i get more power if I get 2 600 watt mono amps?

Which is a better setup and Y?

Thanx

Basically, the wiring doesn't change since you will still give the new amp the same load. If your subs are SVC (4ohms each), which I think they are, connect both positive and negative terminals together on both drivers. Then take one pair of positive and negative sides and wire it to the amp. Make sure the amp is 2 ohm stable. Otherwise, you can wire it series and end up with an 8 ohm load which results to lower power ratings.

1200 watts at 1 ohm! You gotta wire your subs to 1 ohm total! That's gonna be a little tricky to do. If you can wire the coils on each subs to 2 ohms, then parallel them together you'll get 1 ohm....1200 watts of power! Make sure your power wire is 0 guage.
