finding hole in firewall

finding hole in firewall

i have a 00' GXE and im putting a system in with 2 12's and i can't find a hole in the firewall. im using 4 guage wiring so it has to be a good size hole. does anyone know where there is one or did you guys drill? if you did drill, where did you drill? thanks.

if ur an auto then look up where the clutch pedal SHOULD be. there will be a peice that looks like it can come off. rip it off and it will expose bare metal, if u look in your engine bay u will see that same shape its right next ot the master cylinder. Drill that spot with a .5 in bit and ur set. Make sure to use a gromet or some sort of protectant on your wire to make sure chaffing dosnt cause bare wire to be exposed.

i ran mine right through the mud guard on the drivers side wheel well worked out perfectly you be able to see an inch of wire when the door is open if taht matters to you

my car is manual...and i had it ran through the door before but i am wiring a second amp in and im tired of having exposed wires. any other ideas? please

i belive right above the brake pedal is room to drill, look in your engine bay u should be able to get an idea of the area, ive drilled one car here but the whole was already there i just enlarged it
