HU removal questions

HU removal questions
do i need disconnect the ground cable of battery first, before doing any removal job? is it necessary to disable airbag? thanks for help in advance.

It's not necessary to "disable" the airbag. But, it never hurts to unhook the battery when doing any electrical work on a car.

on that, but really when working with the head unit the most your going to do is fry to audio fuse, 2 second fix but if ur not in the mood for the hassle just un hook the battery and play it safe
