Urgent aftermarket audio question

For Christmas I have been offered a new set of tweeters for my 2002 Max but the purchaser (my mother) has no idea what to get and frankly neither do I. There are so many different kinds, brands, and then there are some that are domed, etc. Could anyone make a recommendation so I don't get the wrong kind? Thanks!

Tweeters won't make that big of a difference. It's what's under the tweeter (i.e. speaker) and what's powering them (i.e. amplifier) that makes the big difference.

Hmmm I had heard tweeters would really help. However, it sounds like I shouldn't waste my time or their money , and thanks very much for the advice. Are there any parts that can be replaced to help sound quality without replacing the whole system (ie I would like to keep the sub and head unit if possible)?

so basically youre asking if replacing the speakers would help? I wouldn't bother with it unless you replaced the head unit as well

You can replace all the speakers. If you add a nice 4 channel amp and 4 speakers your call will sound better.

Do you have blowz?

haha yes I have "blowz" , thanks to everyone who responded...looks like this will be a pretty big financial investment if I want to tell a difference.
