will my dvd receive blew about 2 months ago and i have been driving with no radio for ever. I finally bought the pioneer 5000 dvd/cd/am/fm. My old one i used the bose adaptor and i used it of the new instal as well.

everything is hooked up currectly. the bose apotor is hooked up so from the radio it is input, and to the speakers it is out put. Everything is good to go, but i am still getting no sound what could be wrong?

I checled the fuses all ready, i checked the inside auio, the audio in the egine bay and the bose fuses and they are all good. i just need a radio so i can finally get back to drving without silence.

 

check the adapter again, when you turn on the head units volume up do you hear like a little buzz or low whining sound from the bose to see if its altleast getting power?

 

the headunit comes on 100%, and works like it is suppose to but the speakers do not play. i am 100% sure the adaptor is hooked up correctly.

 

I'm having this same problem, I tried to add XM to my car, and after hte installation, I didn't have any sound from my speakers. I checked over everything, I can't figure out what it could be.
