don't worry, i will post pics when i have everything in . talked to my builder last night. he said he will get the materials and stuff and may start to build today. it's "Moe Lester" from the car audio forums that's building it.

damn you guys get all that rattling from 250-500 watts of power? i wish my car did the same, im running approximately 1200-1400rms to my sub, my roof shakes if that counts but nothing really inside the car. and the usual rear view mirror(shakes so much its off the glass) and the side view mirrors.

its nothing to brag about. with the stock non bose i could make my mirror vibrate. it depends ALOT on weather conditions for me. once it drops below 70 degrees everything rattles alot. above that...its much less.

hmm change of plans, he won't finish it this week (since i'm leaving for new mexico soon). he'll get started when i get back. but basically it's going to be 2.5 cu ft now, instead of 2.1. he suggested the bigger volume to make the small amp i have more efficient. dimensions are going to be 34 5/8" wide, 13.5" tall, and 16.5" deep, still tuned to 28 Hz.

i refuse to recommened the tempest because david is having problems with his. it sounds like install issues but im not there to see. imo a tempest with 500 watts should be damn good. id say a tempest over a type r... but i cant until david fixes his problems with it.

edit: did he just get banned???

fosgate fan: i dont think so. but i do recall in the past month or 2, 2 people having problems with them.

2 da max: 2 shivas my man, 2 shivas. shiva is very efficient. does not need alot of power to reach alot of spl. thats why i love mine. you can make a system twice as loud with half the power by using a ported setup. for your kicker id imagine you need a loarger box to port the sub. you can't just stick a hole in the box and think its ported.
