Bose system SKIPS!!

My car has 80000 miles on it and when I got the car about 2 weeks ago and test drove it for a while no cd skips at all...

Now here they come, how can this be, did the dealer know about this??

Its skips like crazy even when I do not hit a bump.It skips like crazy when I start driving the car for about 2-3 minutes then settles down and then skips here and there...

Ive also noticed it skipping on turns???

Please help, can this be fixed?

just replace it with another headunit. that is the best thing you can do. the bose in these cars sucks 100%.

or just get a kit that will allow you to fit regular sized cd players into the big hole... try searching ebay to get one specialized for the max... universal setups didnt work to well in my max

Not sure if this changes things but I foudn that my bose skipped more when it was cold.. I had planned to replace it anyways but this caused me to do it a bit earlier. Just get a normal size one and put the pocket underneath. Or find some cool gadget to go there.

Or you could get a beautiful kenwood DDX7015 which is a doulble din 6.5" tv and does everything a normal HU does plus ALOT more. Price is a little steep but well worth it. Check this site out, it shows one installed http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/207962/4
