how did you get wires inside driver door???

how did you get wires inside driver door???

I have no idea what to do, do you have to drill??? what did you guys do? I have a 2000 se w/ bose.

I'm not real positive because I don't have a 2K and I didn't look at my car anyway but normally there is like a rubber housing that all of the wires are inside of. It goes from in the car into the housing and into the door. This may not be true for Maximas but that is how it is on my other cars.

$hit, i was afraid of that. did you take the door off to drill it. It seems like thats the only way to get a straight shot?

you may be able to drill outwards from inside the speaker area

you can either put it through the grommet( i didnt i was drill happy) or just drill in the doors. either way is fine...

I went through the grommets. Took a metal hanger, straightened it out. Then took some wire and wrapped it with black electrical tape. Taped the wires I needed 1" from the tip of the hanger. Poked into the grommet from outside -> in on door side and body side. Try to poke under and "behind" the main bundle of wires, so it's more concealed when looking from the driver's seat. And finally, if you want, tape the new wires to the existing bundle.
