problem with subs or amp?

problem with subs or amp?
well i have posted this before and still dont have a solution. i cant get any bass out of my subs. i thought it might be my amp but i just took it in and got it tested, they said it was fine. i had this setup in my old car and took it out to put it in my new one and now i dont have any bass. the amp is getting power and the subs are giving some sound just not what they should. the only thing that has changed is that i got a new head unit and added all new speakers with another amp. the new components are working fine but like i said the subs just wont hardly hit. does anyone have any suggestions.
