Is Dynamat worth it?

Is Dynamat worth it? For those of you who have installed Dynamat in your cars, please tell me about your experiences. I would like to quiet down my ride.

It's very much worth it.......you bass response will improve greatly. I put some on top lip of the truck and the liscense plate......plus you won't sound soo cheesy coming down the street with the music pumpin' and all people hear is rattlin;.....

I agree with blakstarz, it is definately worth it. I put in under my trunk lid, on the trunk floor, several other places that I could in the trunk, and on the front doors. Makes a big difference.

Dynamat isnt worth the price, but other comparable deadeners such as EDead and Secondskin products very much are. Dynamat is overpriced because they advertize enough that people will buy their stuff all the time. It is top quality none the less.

Well, I found a deal for the Dynamat Xtreme Bulk Pak for only $129.99 at etronics.com. Kit contains nine 18" x 32" pieces of Dynamat Xtreme. Good deal?

I got some R-Blox and installed it in my front doors and rear deck today. There was an improvement, but I expected more. I don't know if I put it on the doors and rear deck correctly. How did you guys put it on the front doors? I had trouble getting it around the door lock/open handle rods and all the wires/connectors. Was I supposed to lay it over all that stuff? I covered all the holes in the door with it.

I totally covered my front doors with Dynamat Extreme, even the holes. I put it under the handle rods and the wiring. I think I may have covered some of the wiring and just left the connectors exposed, can't quite remember though. I got a good deal on the Dynamat, one of my friends bought it for me at the shop he used to work at. It ended up costing me $30 dollars for the door kit, way better than the $90 that it goes for.
