If you read the Car Audio FAQ sticky, there is a post showing you what adapter you will need to run the Bose amps/speakers with an aftermarket deck. As for the CD and DVD players, I would suggest the Poineer HU that plays DVDs. Sure, it's like $500 but everything will work out of that one unit. I currently have a Blaupunkt DVD player in my trunk and it's a PITA. It doesn't remember where you left off, so you always have to start over when you shut the car over and changes DVDs gets annoying. I have to pull over and pop the trunk everytime I want to change it. I would have switched HUs already if I didn't have Sirius. Sadly, Poineer's only work with XM. ....oh yea, if you are a noob with wires GET HELP!

Getting a CD player and a DVD player would cost you probably the same as a dvd/cd in one. Plus it would reguire more wires runing and customization. You better of with Pioneer like erty said.
I personally have Pioneer dvh-p7000 and I'm happy with it.

I just had a pioneer AVIC N1 installed in my 04 max and I love it. It has navigation/dvd/cd and I didn't have to replace my speaker. I did not opt for the tv tuner. I am loving it.

"tv" is a misnomer, it's really a monitor.

I would recommend getting a new one, especially from Pioneer and just buying the TV Tuner so you can have everything all in one, like they said. Just in case, if anyone is interested, I'm selling my Pioneer 6500DVD touchscreen and DVD, with the AVIC80-DVD Navigation unit together for $1,000. If anyone is interested PM me

The navi alone is about $1500, but since the person above me says he gets it whosale, he'll proably get it for a little under a grand. Try asking him

^^^ thats more like it. 1g is not wholesale. the avic-n1 according to a friend at BB says the cost is like 800. so a navi should be like 300-400 im guessing tops.

^^^ thats fine. if you dont agree with the wholesale price of an add on like a pioneer navi being 400 thats cool but think about it... do you think a brahma costs over $400 to make. id say maybe like $50-100. its all marketing and markup my friend.

that would be shipped direct from my wholesaler

and it all depends on the volume of what he moves. Woofers and such I get much better deals from dvm. Other than that I usually go through a store I worked at in california and have him order them for me, as my volume doesnt constitute as good a deal as theirs. You have a specific model your looking for? I know that with the avic i dont get a good deal at all 1200-1400 refurb or new. shrug. I have other units from other sources as well

Having this setup in the dash is good. But living in the city and having my car park on the street most of the time. I'm afraid they might break into my car for the TV.

Hey, JoE'sMaX01
Is there a high occurance in Brooklyn? I hangout there on weekends. If I have one install, I might be asking for trouble. I am planning on a 7" in dash and a PS2 under the seat. Any guidance?

I got my flip out in my car for about a month now but no problem so far thank god (knock on wood) but i had it in my other car for almost 6-7 months no problems. I got tints rite away so you can't see anythin inside my car, I have about 20% all around. But the unit itself is hard to see when lookin from outside. All my work is under my passanger seat so I dont think u need to worry too much, just be careful of when you park dont have the screen fliped out or open just close the unit like a block or so before you park or somethin like that. Thats what I do I make sure to have my system and dvd off like 2-4 blocks before i get to my destination, just in case someone peps what i have, you can never know so im just safe rather than bein sorry.
