This might seem like an odd question but yesterday someone tried to steal my wheels and screwed up my drivers side fender. Since my apt parking is in the rear of the building I was wondering if I can install a wireless pinhole cam ( http://www.v2comp.com/surveillance-i...fo/cam010A.htm )on my car but what would be a ideal spot to put a cam in the car? the parking is quite well lit at nights. Any ideas?

Not a bad idea, but how wide is a viewing angle on the camera? Depending on whether you have tint or not, you may be able to hook it up to one of your visors. (at least that would be your easiest option.

 

thanks, I am not sure yet about the viewing angle still trying to find out but I don't have tints.

 

what view are you trying to get, and outside view from the inside of the car or an inside the cab view.

cause they did try to steal your rims, just wondering.......

 

outside view definetly since i can't afford 2 cams at this time I want to get the best out of 1. Just to give you an idea I have a alotted parking spot and its against the wall so i could park either fornt of the car facing the wall or the back I prefer back coz its easy for my to drive out.

 

ahhhh, that'll be hard to do with one camera. you want to see two sides of the car with one camera. even if that wasn't the case, if the camera is small enough you can put it in the rear view mirror, but that only gives you one wheel to look at..... uhhh I dunno

Those cam's have a 60 deg viewing angle.

 

well if you have one only, you're best bet is to put the cam on a window looking down at the car for a full view.

with two, you can park next to the wall so only one side is vulnerable, now put one on the front windshield and back maybe so you can see both wheels...

a inside the fender cam will be cool........
