would you recommend stepping it up just a tad? i listened to a guy with 1 10" in his truck back seat and it was perfect... he said he had it a little under-powered, but with it being a 12, and in my trunk... should i add a bit more? or will it not make a difference?

that sub can take 500rms with ease as long as you set the gains right. both my brothers had 12" reference. one running off a rf 501bd, the other off a rf p5002.

300w at bridged 4 ohms... i think is the better choice!

http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu...roductID=14321
300w x 1 @ 2 ohms... more power draw...

can you explain why the 2 channel can create a 4 ohm at 300w, while the mono can't?

i know it's bridged, but i can't make sense of it in my head...

thanks again

better yet, the guy that i listened to up at performance mobile, he said his was a little under powered, and this amp might do the trick for $40 less...

http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu...roductID=14319

what you think?

why can 2 channel amps double their rating ie: that was a 2 x 50w and its total power is 200w?
