Head-unit grounding issues

I've been having grounding trouble since my new Pioneer head-unit install. I first tried the bar where the center console screws into, but that had noise in it...

Where is the best place behind the dash, in a 4th gen, to ground a headunit to?

Thanks.

how did you ground it to the center console thing? did you use an o-ring or some kind of connector? or did you just screw it in?
