I would say two 10's. 12's are supposed to be better subs if you are comparing the same brand, but it depends on what kind of bass you are looking for.

The bass from a 12 will be a little lower and less punchy than the bass from 2 10's. I would choose a 12, but that's just me.

what type of music do you listen to. If its something with fast drum beats like techno, or with a lot of double bass in metal, you would want 2 10's because they would be able to keep up with the bass notes. Something more slower like rap beats, 1 12in would do fine because they hit the lower notes and the beats arent fast at all. I myself have had 1 12 in for 3 years now and am taking it out to put in 2 10's so can have better sound quality, plus if you get good 10's and put the right power to them they can hit just as hard as 12's.

10's being faster than 12's being faster than 15's.....This misinformation has been passed around for a long time. Adire Audio has a great white paper on this - woofer speed. To sum it up, look for a sub with a low inductance voice coil, it's better with transient response. If they won't release this information, look for another manufacturer.

^^^ 300 to each is not alot of power. btw my 12's hit tighter and faster than my 10's...box size is very dependant on how the woofers sound.

awesome link to adire Robert w00t.

I would say you would only get 2 10"s if you dont have the space for 2 12"s ...

why not 2 12's?

1 infinity 10.1 DVC for me....btw anyone know the difference between that one and the VQ? i didn't feel like spending the 50 extra dollars for the VQ becuase they have the same power ratings and both are DVC.
