Two things that suck:

1. the Alpine CVA1005 either syncs with the initial DOS boot screen, OR the Windows desktop, but never both. Still haven't decided if it's the video card (ATI All In Wonder 128 Pro) or the CVA 'picking' a signal to sync with .. I bet it has something to do with the Alpine not picking up the proper 75ohm impedance -- the video card insists "TV Not Connected"

2. The sharpness of the image -- putting the VGA through to TV Out and then into the Aux video In port is not exactly beautiful -- the 640x480 desktop projected on a 6.5" lcd is a bit of a strain. One buddy has a hunch if we can pin-out the rgb of the VGA cable, and pin it into the RGB input on the cva instead, we might have a deal.

Other issues abound... ground problem (some alternator whine still, despite a great ground for both inverter and computer power supply), inverter sucks (gotta go straight to a dc-to-dc power supply).... issues issues...
