what is another constant 12 volt source other than the ciggarette lighter? How many things can i wire to the cigg lighter wire if i change the fuse?

 

cigarette lighter isnt constant - it turns off when the car does. what are u wiring to it and - dont up the fuse, find a higher current.

 

You should probably consider running another wire directly to the battery. Tapping into existing wiring will often lead to overloads and blown fuses if not done correctly.

 

The ignition harness has a good 30 amp constant wire you can tap right into if you take the panel off under the steering column. On a 98, the constant wires there should be white with a red stripe, or white with a purple stripe, and it will be a 12 gauge wire coming right off the steering column area.
