can i wire my fogs directly to my headlights so they come on or do i need a relay?


and if that cant be done can i wire a switch to the fog light wire harness up in my steering column? i dont have the turn signal stalk with it on it.

 

Can you be more specific as to what you have and what you are trying to do? Did you have factory foglights?

To partially answer your question, you can wire them up to a relay so they come on whenever the headlights are on, or you can put a separate switch somewhere to turn them on and off individually. I would not wire them up directly, Im not sure it would cause harm but why take the chance, relays are very cheap and easy to use.
