Will I be able to add a bose sytem form a 1999 maxima into my non-bose 2002 maxima. I know it involves changing the entire audio wiring and i will do that.

My main question is it possible????

and also can I connect the climate control from a 99 into my non-climate control 2002???

Heres the thing. 5th gen maxes with Bose have one amp on the rear deck, and 4th gens have an amp at each speaker. 4th gen amps have power, ground, and speaker wire, so to hook up these amps, you would have to run power and ground into each door, probably 12 gauge, and connect it to the amps. Non bose 5th gens have no amps, since the amp is in the radio, so the speaker wire goes directly from the radio into the doors. If I remember correctly, the 4th gen bose amps are pretty big, but if somehow you could fit them behind the radio/zip tied under the steering column, then you could just run power and ground to the amps which would be inside the car, rather than having to run it into the doors. You would then have speaker wire at the back of the radio that ran into each door, so you could connect that to the output of the bose amps, so you wouldnt have to run speaker wire into the doors either.

In any case, yes it is possible, it will be a big pain in the **** in either case, and since the bose amps are pretty big....if you are set on doing this, best bet is to get a bunch of 12 gauge power/ground and run it into the doors. If you do this, you will have to drill a hole in the door jam for the front doors in the 2002, because there is no room at all in the factory grommet. The rears, you should be able to fit it through.
