they say that the top one can adjust the output levels so co crutchfield offers this.

I mean im just gonna have the factory speakers wired to the HU for a month or so. So should i purchase the 2nd one or the 3rd one(with both)?

the black box is an small signal booster. it just gives the headunit alittle boost in sound. if you don't wanna splice any wires or even cut a single one, get both that way you can take it out at will and still have the oem harness to put the bose back in(or whatever the oem radio is)..

*** the signal booster you don't need unless you have a dvd player radio that they recommend you to it so the sound is better....
