bose subwoofer not working

This thing stopped working and I messed around with this thing in the pic. I could push up on it and it would work for a while, like weeks. Then after about the 4-5th time it did not work anymore. I know bose sucks but I don't have the money to be spending on a system just wanting to get this little subwoofer working.

This is for a 2000 maxima. Someone else fixed theirs by splicing the orange wire and hooking it to the trunk light wire or something. They only had two wires on that side though, I have three.

Try this for bigger picture

this is driving me crazy not having a little bumping

This part came off of the subwoofer, it attaches from the speakers amp to the sub amp.
