I need 2 12's that are louder and deeper than what i currently have. I have right now two polk momo 12's, and I am craving something louder. I have looked at the mtx thunder 9500, but its alot of money and if there is something equally as good for less then im gonna go for it. I have my hifonics amp that is capable of a claimed 1500watts rms at 1 ohm, so power isnt too much of a concern. I have heard about problems with the type x's and am wondering if this is all of them because i can get a pair for around 350-400 new for 12's. Any help on this would be awesome.

you should ask slickrick man, hes selling his ADIRE SHIVAS. one of the badest 12s out there for that price, trust me man ive heard them :wink: and they will rock your world. he selling them for 200 for both 12s. They are a sensitivity sub so it doesnt need that much power to get those bad boys pumpin. givin about 300 and youll shake the place. pm him hes a good guy and their in mint condition

 

me personally im an alpine dude, alpine hu, 2 way coaxials, monoamp and 2 channel amp, sub, and box. and to tell you the truth the typex are overpriced, get the adireshivas and youll love it, 2 for have the price. i put money that one shiva ported would take that typex down when it comes to bass. alpine subs are for quality.

 

what i'm getting at is...if they're in a sealed box, port those things. i heard a pair of momos in a ported box and they hit plenty loud and low. cheaper alternative than getting a new sub.

lol.. is this an infomercial like "fitness celebrity john basedow" here? anyway one brahma 15 ported to about 3.5cubes with that amp should drop like no other. there are numerous options but make sure whatever sub/subs combo you look at the final impedence is 1 ohm assuming is the hifonics brutus 1500.
