Will a double din CD/Cassette work on a regular Maxima
I am looking to get a CD and Cassette player for our 95 GXE. Right now it just has an old aftermarket SONY Cd-player. Will a Bose CD/Cassette unit fit in, and will it work?? Or do I have to stick with the non-Bose stuff. I dont think the factory speakers are Bose. I was looking into something like this:

or a Bose like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=38640
So has anyone done this before???

Yes you can probably get the Bose to fit by taking out the pocket thingy underneath. But then you'd have to get line converters for your speakers, as well as amps to drive them (the Bose system includes amps located at each speaker, not in the HU). Finally, why would you even want the Bose HU? A decent aftermarket HU will sound MUCH better than the Bose and cost way less. There are several aftermarket dual-DIN units with both CD and tape.
