A friend of mine has an 02 maxima with the Bose stereo. She has had the HU replaced 3 times in the past 3 years under warranty by a Nissan dealership. She keeps getting a code F4 on the HU. She brings the car in and they replace the HU, but never tell her why it`s happening. Now she is worried that she is going to keep having this problem after the car is out of warranty.

 

So whats your question....its Bose, breaking or sounding like crap is all its good for
For all that hassle, just get an aftermarket deck.
