Does any one have the PAC SWI-X?

I'm told I need the PAC SWI-X to keep using my steering wheel controls. Does anyone have it on installed on their MAX? If so, have you had any problems with it? I just called a local audio place and the tech told me they install the PAC , but it doesn't always work. Is this true? Is the PAC worth getting?

I have it for about 8 months and have no problems. Sometimes you may just have to hit the button twice for it to perfrom the function you want it to thats about it.

I also have it in my car. It's very convenient. I almost never touch the faceplate because of the PAC.

the faq just tells you how to regain control of the dte, mpg, etc. not how to actually wire up the swi-x.
