I have not decided if I want to purchase new speakers and rip out the bose amps/speakers, or get one of the PAC things and keep the speakers...vote??. In the mean time, would it damage anything if I were to hook up my aftermarket amped HU to the amped speakers?? I asked a guy at Best Buy and he said it would not hurt anything, but I thought I would double check. I hooked it up briefly...it is very loud and does not sound the greatest and for some reason you can hear the amps 'pop' on louder?? Could I just rip out or bypass the bose amps and leave the speakers??
