speakers and that stupid plastic lining inside the doors

Lately, I've been hearing rattling when the bass from my stock Bose would hit harder than usual. I keep the settings all to the middle, yet I still got a rattle. So I opened up the door panel. Lo and behold, it's the plastic sheet that is rattling from all the air from the speaker. Is there anything to remedy this? I've already tried to stuff it with foam lining so that it would be pressed down on from the door panel. I have some dynamat a friend gave me. about 2 square feet. Is there something you guys could give me hints on, whether to rip out the plastic or placement of the dynamat? the link in the faqs is never gonna be fixed. Thanks for your time.

What link in the FAQs? If I knew there was something wrong in there perhaps I could fix it.

I think he's talking about the broken link on "How to Dynamat a Maxima". I would like someone to fix that link too. Thanks...

yea the dynmat procedure. I mean it's pretty self explanatory, just thought there would be optimal points to do it, instead of every surface of the door

The basic place to dynamat would be the area immediately surrounding the woofer, both under it (on the door's outer skin) and around it. Of course, the more the merrier as far as I'm concerned.

If you could identify the exact source(s) of the rattle, that would help too. Then you could start systematically addressing them one at a time.

If you really want to go ape crap, check out my homepage for some pitcures of my doors.
