3rd gen rear deck
3rd gen rear deck
hey guys, a few quick questions.
1. how did you take your rear bose cover off?
2. i want to take the amps out, not just bypass them, suggestions?
3. Not sure if this is audio related, but could anyone tell me what the silver box in the trunk is. It is on the passenger side between the speaker and rear seat and is bolted to the top.
thanks....Holla!!!

1) You got to take the rear cover off and they are screwed in. www.geocities.com/craigbrace. Browse the how to area
2) Look for screws at the top or at the bottom of it.
3) Leave it alone. I know what you're talking about it's prolly the trunk latch relay or something.
That website above is VERY helpful browse around it.

on the Bose system, the amps are built onto the 6x9 covers... the speakers themselves come out from the bottom.
the box in the passenger corner is the ABS stuff I'm guessing. it's not on my non-abs car, and the factory non-bose amp is on the driver's side.
has nothing to do with trunk latch or anything else.
