Question about 95 max rear speaker wires....

I installed new rear 6.5 inch speakers in my friends 95 max (dont think she had Bose). My question is if any one knows which color wires are negative and positive? I think the drivers side was red and black and passanger pink and green or blue (not certain at this point) Thanks

If you look at the connectors closely after unplugging them, you'll see the + and - signs.

it doesnt matter on the internal speakers. when i put in the 6.5'' explodes in the rear, they sounded exactly the same even when the wires were switched. i don think it matters which wires are connected to the terminals. try turning the radio on while wiring and listen to what it sounds like. my subs pound inverted when the speaker wires are switched. does anybody know why the subs are inverted but it doesnt matter w/ the 6.5''?

Usually the brighter colors are the positive... red and green in your case, iirc.

Polarity does make a difference... Out of phase speakers can "cancel" each other out... more apparent on the bass portion.
