Installing my first head unit today...any advice?
I had a kenwood and it got all messed up so I bought a new Pioneer. I got a bunch of installation stuff from Curtchfield and it all looks pretty easy, but I got the last head unit pro. installed so I'm not sure what they did to the wires. Anyone have any general advice...like not electrocuting myself?

Well take it slow, and to avoid the electrocution disconnect the negative battery terminal. But sometimes getting electrocuted is half the fun...
If your unsure of what wire is what, check the wires running to the speakers, it'll give you a good idea of what wire is what...
Can't think of anything else... Not sure if your car has those great little jagged pieces of metal sticking out. Mainly the early 90's had them. Don't know how many times I've cut myself on those.

I just installed my system last night, no real problems. I read on here alot of people had noise though, you might want to use a different ground then the factory wiring. I ground mine to the dash and no noise. you might want to search on here for a wiring diagram, I found mine and it made it alot easier. Good luck and be careful.
