where is the bose amp?

where is the bose amp?
i going to install new speakers and new hu, i have everything remove but i don't know what box is the bose amp to do the bypass, somebody have some idea to do the bypass.

i thought each speaker had its own mini amp..
...?

thats how my 98 is. and might i add the sound is beautiful.. with a 99 unit that doesnt give the fin CD ERR thing..

each speak has its own amp located on the back of each speaker
