Cheap mobile video
Cheap mobile video
I know the best way to do mobile video is to go ahead and spend the right amount of money on screens and a dvd player but I'm a high-school student that is about to be a college student and I want to put a total of three screens, 2 in the head rests and one in the dash(hopefully under my HU), and a DVD player, in the glove-box, and with the cheaper stuff it'll be $480 w/o shipping. My only problem is that I'm wondering how I can get it to play through my speakers and subs and still have the ability to go from using the dvd player to using the HU. Is this a strictly proffessional job or can someone please help me with this?
So I guess this means that I would have to buy a new HU? I have a Panasonic CQ-DF600U. Do you have any idea how much it would cost me to get a HU with AUX-in ports? Or is there any way to buy an adapter or something so I don't have to buy a new HU?
I think I have aux-in ports, but they are labeled as cd changer controls, but I'm guessing an aux-in port is an aux-in port no matter what it is labeled? Oh yeah...If it amkes a difference it labeled with a sticker that I assume is from the factory.
I don't have them yet, I want to make sure I can do the project within a good price range before I buy anything. If things go as planned I'm getting...
1- Pyle 7 inch TFT/LCD in dash screen
1- SPL DVD player (will be mounted in the glove-box)
2- 7.2 inch pyramid LCD screens for the headrests
If I do decide to do this then it will all come from Cardiscounstereos.com
they have some really good prices on Audiobahn and other smaller name audio companies
