a question all. need to replace the Bose head unit in my girl's 1997 GLE. Looking at alpine pretty much.. However, hooking it up to the stock speaker and stuff. I just want to drop this HU in without doing much more. I'm sure there will need to be a wiring harness for match up the old stock HU adapter to the new HU. but some audio dude, told my girl that you can't run the bose speakers on an aftermarket deck for very long before the stock speakers goes. now I know a thing or too about audio and I don't really believe him but I don't know this Bose system very well and that is why I am asking the experts...

well you could do what i did and just get the harness, or you could get a PAC for the bose speakers and aftermarket hu
