amp on non-bose unit

I currently have a JVC CD player. The sound on my JVC is better especially on function button LOUD than stock unit but I like the fitment look on stock unit. Can I add an amp on my stock unit to improve sound quality, may be better than JVC?

You'll have to use line output converters to make that happen. May want to consider some Audio Control pieces to tweak it a little too. You can get away with using the stock CD player, but my opinion is that you'll need a little equalization before the amp(s).

check the sticky at the top...I think I remember someone mentioning an adapter in one of those stickes which lets you add an amp directly onto the bose hu.
