Installed PAC-ROEM-NIS2? Step in.,..

I'm doing the wiring from my new deck through the PAC-ROEM-NIS2 and have one question:

The deck has the usual + and - wires for each speaker, but the adaptor (with chart) has a - wire and a + high level and + low level for each speaker. I suppose this is a split to the tweeter and door speakers? My question is, do I just crimp the +high and +low together and connect them to the Alpine + wire for each speaker?

Seems like an obvious answer, but I just want to make sure....

thanks!

one other thing....since the 5th gen doesn't have a power antenna, do I just leave both ends of the power antenna wire unattached, or should I attach them?

the high level and low level are for speaker level and amp level signals.. if you connect them, you're going to damage circuitry..

If you harness has a power antenna wire on it going to the car, then you'll need to hook it up. I'm not sure on the 5th gens, but on the 3rd gens, that same wire told the Bose to power up... If you didn't connect it, tbe BLose wouldn't work...

Thanks Matt....so I would assume I leave 4 of the wires unconnected then? Would I leave the +high or the +low loose?

same with nismo's install. the antenna didn't fit with the oem harness, so I hooked it up to the pac anyway just incase he desides to get the proper harness. but as for the spk wires I hooked them all up to the pac. I left no wire hanging... if you got the same one as nismo did you should have all the wires connected..

Here's what the Alpine has coming OUT in terms of speaker wires:

front right speaker gray + gray/blk -
front left speaker white + wht/blk -
rear right speaker purple + pur/blk -
rear left speaker green + grn/blk -

now the adaptor speaker wires:
front left
+ low level wht/red
+ high level wht
- wht/blk
front right
+ low gry/red
+ high gry
- gry/blk
rear left
+ low green/red
+ high green
- grn/blk
rear right
+ low purple/red
+ high purple
- purple/blk

now all the other wires match up identically, so should I just leave all the "low" wires unattached to anything, since there is no low/red stripe wires coming from the deck?

I got the PAC-ROEM-NIS2.....but as you can see above, there are high and low speaker positives...which to use is the question.

As to the antenna, I have an antenna adaptor...I was asking about the "power antenna" wire (blue wire) from the harness and deck....

what I mean is the PAC wiring diagram denotes a LOW LEVEL (+), a HIGH LEVEL (+) and a (-) for EACH speaker.....but of course the Alpine wiring only has a regular (+) and (-) wire...2 wires, not 3.

ok cool, you should be all set. these pac adapters are pretty simple to work with.

are you sure you adapter is the PAC-ROEM-NIS2, this name isn't valid, you must have the PAC-AOEM-NIS2 is this right?

The ROEM-NIS2 is for using a/m deck with stock/bose speakers

the AOEM-NIS2 is for using Bose deck with aftermarket speakers....

You are only supposed to use the high level +. The low level + would be for using the RCA preouts, and cutting the cable to hook it up. You do have a powered antenna...hook up the blue wire. It is in the rear window, but it is amplified.

Sorry to bump an old thread but this question is relevant. Does the PAC ROEM-NIS2 require any manual adjustments? Or is it basically just plug and play after wiring it to the after market H/U?
