Double power, gain only 3dB.... its the truth. in an open environment. inside a car maybe 6dB if you are lucky below 50Hz where cabin gain begins to puck up.

from 6 years of listening to booming subs, my left ear buzzes inside my ear canal on big bass songs or high treble songs. it's annoying as heck, but thats what i get for abusing my ears. i haven't gotten that buzzing recently though even when i listen to my system.
