Whats a good component system????????

For the front speakers i have bose and im getting rid of it.. i want to know what a good component system u guys suggest? i was thinking kenwood or my buddy said diamond... please give some advice!!!

depending on your budget, you might look at something like the Focals or the Rainbows. Ive heard some okay things about the CDT's but for about the same price you could just go with Rainbows and be blown away. If Don shows up here, he can give some really good advice.

One thing to look for is the material that the woofer and tweeter cones are made of. Usually the more exotic materials (polykevlar, iridium, neodymium) then to hold their form much better and give a better response.

Rainbow, Focal, DLS,Dynaudio, OZ Audio, Illusion Audio....these have a set for every budget. The new Diamond comps are pretty good too.

you got that right. I was stupid enough to put them on my first car I had when I was 17, but they sucked bad!

Awww man. I had a set of 4" OZ Audio componenets in my 3rd gen. They fit right in the Bose speaker pod for the front doors. They sounded like 6 1/2's. I loved them.

I would look into the Rainbows personally. 2nd on calling Don!

I also had Infinity's in my car when I was in my teens. They sound like horsesh!t compared to my current Focals, which are just average. When you hear more of what's out there it'll give you a better ear of what's good and what's not.

If you like them then thats what matters. Once you get to audition others Im sure your mind will change though..

You can look into Rainbow,Arc,DLS,Focal,Diamond,Alumapro,etc...
