my bose in my 2k makes a ticking/clicking noise wich is faint but audible. any reason for this? only when i play cds.

My 2k does the same thing. The clicking noise usually comes when I am playing burned cd's. Are you having the same noise when playing store bought cd's? The sound does not pop up when I play all cd's, but I am thinking that it is because the cd's are either slightly scratched, or the process of burning the cd has somehow caused this noise.

 

yeah exactly. it does it on most of mine but there are some that do not. and i dont have any burned cds.
