Installing midbass drivers

Anybody know how to install midbass drivers in the front, near the midrange/tweeter assembly location? What size midbass driver should it be, 4", 5.25", or 6.5"? Any pics?

About the only way to do it, is to mount your mids in the kicks and install your midbasses in the doors. In this thread I show how I installed 8" woofers in the door of my 4th gen.

A midbass driver needs to be able to pound out the 50-150 Hz range, so you will need stout 6.5s or 8s for best results.

yea but i gotta put them at the same level as the midranges and tweeters, so my ears will hear all the frequencies equally. That's essential for optimal sound quality. I have the midranges/tweeters in the lower part of the front doors.

Sorry man, that is not true at all. First off, mid bass frequencies are much much less directional than mid of high frequencies. The biggest consideration is that you keep them in front of you. You get you image from the upper end of the spectrum. 500+. Then what is much more important than your highs and your mids being together, is that you have a near equal path lengths between the drivers. The doors are not a good place for this at all, since the path from your right ear to the right stage is about 3X as far as your left ear from the left stage.
If you want a tried and true formula for achieving a solid, center of the dash, image, do this. Mid basses in the doors on MDF baffles with plenty of dampening. Mids in custom kicks angled toward the dome light. Tweets in the A pillars about 1/3-1/4 from the bottom aimed parallel with the contour of the windshield. You will need to be able to attenuate all three separately, and know a little about tuning, but this will return great results.
