Left front speaker goes in and out

02' GLE with Bose. The left front works fine and then stops sometimes...occurs when I make a turn or hit a bump. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Take it to the dealer and have them replace the HU, there's a TSB for it. That will eventually die on you again. I say just get an aftermarket HU, you will have no problems.

Uhh, they should replace it for free. There is a TSB out, print it out and take it to them

Saved you the trouble of having to find it:

If that's the case, don't waste your money on the stock HU. If you have the money, go aftermarket.

With the $$ it would cost you to replace the OEM HU, you can build a high fidelity sound system-speakers, HU and amp

From: Auburn WA,
Had same prob. decided to try and fix it myself. Took HU apart and looked around abit, made sure all inturnal plugs were tite check for cracks in the boards, and put it back together. Fixed problem for 2 weeks now, (use to f--k up everyday) guess I got lucky because I didn't realy fix anything, just screwed up the tape player that I never use.
