Adding on to existing system......
Hey guys,
I'm pleased with the stock system in the 04 SE. I don't wanna change the radio or the current speakers...just looking to add 2 10" subs to it (just more bass and a little more vocals, I'm looking at getting dual-coil subs instead of single ones for the bass/tweeter sound). Has anyone done this or ran into any problems adding on to the 04 Max system?
Thanks....

Adding subs isn't gonna improve the vocals at all. You need better mids and tweeters up front to improve the bandwidth that vocals are in.
Also, I don't think you understand what dual-voicecoil subs are. The number of voicecoils doesn't change the sound at all. It changes only the wiring options (ohm load).

I'll recommend something to help out. Memphis M-Class component sets. They have awesome mids and good highs. www.memphiscaraudio.com
But with what you're wanting a component set is about what you're looking for. New co-axials would work... but I think you'll like how a component set will sound better.
