need to spend more money

I just got the local audio shop to install a kicker amp and 2 10' kicker comp vr subs in da max. (nice clean job they did, subs pointing into cab and all hidden by false wall in da trunk, will post pics soon) My second bose pos head unit has just got the left speaker cut "again". I live 500km from the nearest nissan stealer, so rather than spending money on the trip down so they can put in another unit, ill buy a aftermarket one, my question is with a new HU i need to buy the roem-nis2 thingy? i still want to keep my stock speakers and amp for now, is that the right thingy for me? Ive been looking around i want a shiney silver one" will look good in da max", this is my first choice ,jvc 500 the specs on it look good three 5 volt preouts, 22rms x 4 heres the link, comments please, sorry i dont know how to post a link, cut and paste

much better brands out there man for that price, example, a $600 kenwood x979 can be bought on ebay for about $300, an AWESOME cd player, built in equalizer and everythin, you really need to check it out before you buy something jvc

Look into Eclipse, Clarion, Pioneer, Alpine, etc...yes there are much better brands out there

As long as you get a head unit with 3 pairs of preouts, then you can wire it up without any adapters and itll work fine. If you get one with less than 3, then you will need the PAC or Scosche adapter.

If you get a radio with 3 pairs of preouts, you can wire the front and rear preouts to power the bose speakers.

how could the preouts power the speakers? I dont understand. I have a 2channel amp powering my 2 10' subs and would like to keep my factory speakers and amp except "bose subwoofer, its unplugged" And i want to install a new head unit.

yes you wire the RCAs right into the aftermarket wiring harness at the back of the radio

your bose amps will still power the speakers but your preouts will send the audio signal to the bose amps
