Can you take speakers from a 5th gen to a 4th gen?
I am changing my HU to the Pioneer DEH-860MP this week and am not too thrilled with the money situation that is forcing me to keep my BOSE speakers. Anyway is it possible to take BOSE from 5th gen and throw them in my 4th gen. I am not sure if mine are blown or not but just putting 2 and 2 together would suggest that speakers from a 5th gen are better than those in my 95. I am hoping I can find some in a junkyard.

Not sure about speaker swap but I got that headunit and you better read the manual kinda complicated. The one button feature is interesting. Let me know if you have problems with disk reading mine sometimes skips.

just my opinion, but the bose speakers on a 5th gen or junk, don't waste your time, just save a little and put something good in there. I would have never thought Bose produced a bad speaker, but now I think they should stick to home stereos.....lol
